Analysts, such as Gartner, predict that the disruptions caused by the COVID 19 pandemic will not go away when life eventually returns to normal. From the wide spread of work from home policies to the benefits of cloud-based solutions, to the limits of “business as usual” machine learning models, many changes are here to remain. As some said, from a digital transformation perspective, the pandemic fast forwarded things and many companies will end 2020 to where they would have probably not been before 2025.
A leader in the cloud, data, and AI space, Neal Analytics is conducting a research project to gather real-life data (data is in our DNA after all) to measure how the pandemic impacted businesses’ cloud migration & modernization, data estate modernization, and AI projects from both a timeline and focus perspective.
In exchange for about 10 minutes of your time replying to this survey (feel free to share it with your colleagues and friends!) you will receive at no cost the final report of this research project. You will also be entered in a drawing to win* a $100 Amazon gift card.
- Cloud initiatives encompass all migration and modernization projects including among other on-premise to cloud migrations (shift and lift to VMs), application modernization leveraging natively several cloud-only capabilities (serverless, computing, containers, micro-services, etc.).
- Data initiatives relate to all data estate modernization projects leveraging vendors such as Azure Synapse/SQL Data Warehouse, DataBricks, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.
- AI initiatives range from traditional statistical machine learning models for various use cases such as forecasting, quality control, predictive maintenance, or SKU optimization, to name a few, to deep learning based solution using in-house or vendor solutions such as Microsoft Cognitive Services or AWS AI services.
Let’s get started!
